Tune(hornpipe)

(Hornpipes) Bantry Bay, The Smell of the Bog - Session

I joined a session at Murphy's last Wednesday. I'd learned this set from "Traditional Irish Music From London" by John Blake, Lamond Gillespie and Mick Leahy.

I played my Grinter flute.

(Hornpipes) Cal Callaghan's, Mahony's - House Session

We had a house session last Saturday. There were a fiddler, two concertina players and two flute players.

This set is from "Humours of Highgate."

(Hornpipes) The Tailor's Twist, The Home Ruler - House Session

We had a house session last Saturday. There were a fiddler, two concertina players and two flute players.

I learned this set when I joined a session in Osaka, Japan in July.

(Hornpipe) The Golden Eagle - Concertina

I learned this tune from my friend in May. The B part is difficult for me to play smoothly...

I played a Edgley 'Heritage model' concertina, which has concertina reeds.

(Hornpipes) Murphy's, The Stack of Barley, The Plains of Boyle - Session

My wife and I joined a session at Hyogo (Japan) in July. I enjoyed playing this set!

My wife played her Dipper concertina and I played my Grinter flute.

(Hornpipes) Chief O'Neill's Favourite, Kitty's Wedding - Session

I joined a session at Murphy's on May 27, 2015.

I played my Grinter D flute.

(Hornpipes) The Fairy Queen, The Locomotive - Flute

I guess I learned this set from my friend. Tommy Peoples played it on the fiddle in "Maiden Voyage - Live Traditional Irish Music Session from Pepper's Bar, Feakle, Co. Clare." It's a great set though both tunes are difficult for me to play on the flute... I have to use G sharp key!

I played my Grinter flute.

(Hornpipes) The Beeswing, Cooley's - Concertina

I learned the first tune from my friends in January. It was pretty difficult for me to play on the concertina!

I played a Jeffries C/G concertina.

(Hornpipes) The Mountain Ranger, The Harp and Shamrock - Flute

I learned this set from "Fourmilehouse" by Alan & John Kelly. I guess the second tune is more popular than the first one.

I played a Cochran Delrin flute.

(Hornpipes) The Fairies' Hornpipe, Willy Walshe's Hornpipe - Ab/Eb Concertina

I learned these tunes many years ago. You can find them in "Traditional Irish Tin Whistle Tutor" by Geraldine Cotter.

I played a Jeffries Ab/Eb concertina.
