The Fisherman's Lilt, My Love is in America (reels) - Concertina and Flute Duet

I learned this set from Traditional Music From East Clare  by Mary MacNamara.

This recording is from The Cuckoo's Nest (our Irish music band) Live in Yokohama, Japan, in May 2003.

I played a 6 keyed flute in D made by Eamonn Cotter and my wife played a 38 key C/G Crabb concertina.

PS : I uploaded our recording on YouTube.

Irish Flute: Eamonn Cotter

I had played the 6 keyed flute in D made by Eamonn Cotter until I got my Grinter flute.

I bought it about ten years ago. I don't remember how much it was, but I think it cost less than 150,000 yen.

I had enjoyed playing it for many years. I sold it to my friend a few years ago. I think he enjoys playing it, too!

My wife also had a keyless Cotter flute in D. It cost 70,000 yen eleven yeares ago.

She had enjoyed playing it for many years! She sold it to my friend recently, because she plays my keyless Olwell flute now.

I learned these slides from Music For The Sets - the blue book compiled by David J Taylor. It makes me happy to play slides!
