When I was playing my Edgley concertina last week, a reed began to sound continuously with no key pressed. I dismantled the end and found that a pad came off from a lever arm, to be precise, from a leather end bead. I think I had been pushing the key (G/A, left hand side) too hard......
I reglued the pad and reassembled the end. It took about twenty minutes for me to fix it. I enjoyed fixing it!
