Irish Flute: Sweetheart

The Irish flute that I bought for the first time is a keyless rosewood flute in D made by Ralph Sweet(Sweetheart Flute Co.).

I bought it from The Early Music Project (a musical instrument shop which is located in Tokyo, Japan) more than ten years ago. I think it cost about 50,000 yen.

It doesn't have a tuning slide and its headjoint is unlined. I think it's an ideal Irish flute for beginners. It has sweet tone. It is light and easy to handle.

I sold it to a flutor in Tokyo after I had bought a keyless Martin Doyle flute.
