Irish Flute: Patrick Olwell

I ordered a keyless flute in D from Patrick Olwell in September, 2002. I received it in January, 2004. So, the waiting time was sixteen months. I've heared that the waiting period for a keyed Olwell flute is more than five years!

It cost 1430 dollars including a soft case and the shipping cost.

It's a great flute, which is loud and easy to blow. Though I usually play the 6 keyed Grinter flute, I sometimes play the keyless Olwell. I think the Olwell flute requires more air than the Grinter.

My wife loves this flute and plays it more often than I!
